Thank you for the compliment. You can use spray paint for plastic for the base coat, then I use acrylic paint with a brush to make them swirl like marbles. I paint them around and around until it looks like a marble. I use an outside varnish to seal them, but varnish for boats would be better. Make sure each coat of paint dries thoroughly. You’ll have to take it in for the winter. I usually put them up on bird stands or build rocks up around them. Have fun with it. Thanks for asking.

I love the colors and would like to try it myself. I live in wisconsin and not sure what type of paint and sealer is needed.

This particular painting was a wall paper mural from the 1950′s on that very same wall. I took photos of it and then duplicated it on the same wall. This was painted in someone’s dining room.
